Dressing up like summer

He tells me that I'm so colorful. I say “I dress like summer”.

It’s hot and humid outside (41 degrees to be precise) but despite all this what makes you love the season are the little things.

~Mangoes

~Iced tea & popcoron (generally during late-night convos with my sisters)

~Air cooler smell (The wet grass in the cooler smells soo sweet)

~Chirpy locality kids (bring back the memories)

~Choco Peanut Butter crusher at KFC (It can actually make me feel better)

~Shorts and Flipflops (My favorite go-to outfit)

~Lazy weekends and chic flicks (The perfect sunday afternoon)

And yeaaay.. It’s not summer until your tongue turns purple!

 SO dress like summer no matter what the season…because little things make even the rainy days seem ‘brighter than sunshine’.

Life in Stilettos

The quote intrigued the thought of how much we crib about things. There is always gonna be a reason that makes you think that life sucks. But if you look beyond yourself, nothing will ever suck.

Maybe our version of suck is so wildly different from someone else’s version of suck that we should be grateful for what we have.

So live life like you are walking in stilettos. No matter how much it hurts, you see the beauty of it. Don’t you think it’s totally worth it! ;)

RED magic...!

When you want that instant glamour .. what do you do?

Red Lipstick  does the trick for me. Its bold, chic, classic  and  can simply never goes out of fashion.
Red lipstick speaks for itself and it keeps away men who are intimidated by a confidant woman ;p

It usually looks best if you keep the rest of your makeup  simple.
A Black eyeliner and lots of mascara is all you really need!  :) Wear it with a statement necklace for that extra dramatic look :)

Who says you cannot rock red lips during the day?... Neutral makeup,a pair of jeans plus red lipstick...and VOILA ! You instantly exude confidence and class.

But  REMEMBER.. You gota find the right shade for your skin tone first.

So, My favorite  M.A.C. Matte Lipstick in Viva Glam I. Its bricky deep red..
When I first used it, I said ''OMG YESSS'',I finally found the PERFECT red.Its  thick,creamy and velvety with soft matte finish.  Smells yum too .

So c'mon go glam this party season and otherwise too.  Red is soo Hott

Old Jeans are like your best friends…reliable and dependable. Your go-to outfit that end up looking so good...

My old jeans have been through a lot with me. You know, like stages of life type things. Like growing up kind of things. Like good, bad, fun, sad and then finding love kind of things. Emotional things... They are like that old friend that you can count on to be there when you need them the most. They don’t judge or condemn. They are just there for you.

I don’t’ care if they are torn, faded or unwashed. I love them anyway.

P.S.. There are jeans that will rather find a place in a DUMP..The big bell-bottoms, I had bought when they were soo- in fashion. lol.. I feel so stupid! It was a fad actually. Doesn’t last long. Don’t mistake them with your old pair of jeans  ;)

Lately, I’ve been up to some serious saving up. Why?  Don’t even get me started! J
Nevertheless, I manage quite well with a few propelling elements that motivate me, just like this question that keeps lingering in my head these days when I see something appealing – “Do I really need to splurge when I can create something new out of what I already have?”
Not really! You don’t need to spend exuberantly when you have the vitals.
Well then, I thought, why not shop smartly, this season?
Pile on layers to create entirely different outfits plus go with mix and match accessorizing.

-Staples in a variety of solid colours and a basic form so they can be adapted to suit any occasion.

-Colourful blazers! Dark pink is my favourite without a doubt but off-late coral seems to be my new love. They can even be layered with cute dresses.

Check List Shopping

Window shopping is interesting, its like falling in love.You see something you might not need.. even then you ...BUY!! N why? ...because you love it soo much.

(generally I dont even know why i love it)I look for ways to bring out the very best qualities of it to convince myself for the splurgy act :)                                                                                                                                                                                        

When I go shopping with a check-list in mind I end up finding nothing generally.Does this happen with everybody? Life cannot have a list too. I feel If we can love  materialistic things this way, then why do we place conditions on most of our interactions and relationships with people?

I have a shoe, its one size bigger but you know what, I love it. I manage with 2 insoles :p  Love is unconditional you see.

T-shirts are Fashionable too

A tee is probably your go-to for lounging around on the couch or a relaxed look but it can be fashionable and HOT in many ways.

If you're hoping to look chic for a movie or lunch with your girlfriends then you can sport Bold accessories, hot-pants, skinny jeans, or a pleated skirt with a bright blazer to complete your look.                                                     

Colorful cardigans and scarves could also be an option.                                                                                                You can also add a small knot at the bottom in case of an over sized tee.The knot will add a fun element
